Ladder leagues come in two flavors depending on your venue: rotating partner and same partner – but they work the same way: win and you move up, lose and you slide down the ladder.
In a rotating partner ladder league, you play three games a night with 3 different people, 3 dynamics, 3 chances to show out! In the same partner ladder league, you and your partner climb together.

Our Rotating Partner Ladder League is for players who want to grow their game from the inside out. Every league night, you'll play three games, each one with a different partner. Same night, three different dynamics, three chances to show out! The top 2 players in your group move up the ladder and the bottom 2 players move down the ladder.
Our Same Partner Ladder League is for duos who want to put their partnership to the test. You and your partner, week after week, climbing (or clawing your way back up) the ladder together. Because the ladder naturally groups similarly skilled teams together, you'll find yourself playing the teams that are genuinely the closest to your level!

Each week, you’ll get a prompt to RSVP for league night - let us know you’re in and we’ll handle the rest. Once RSVPs are confirmed, you’ll be able to find your game times on the League Platform. Log-in on our website to check your game times, court assignments, and everything else you need to show up ready to play.
When you register, you'll select your skill level to set your starting spot on the ladder. From there, weekly matchups are based on performance and attendance, so your competition gets more dialed-in as the season goes.
Score reporting happens in the same League Platform where you see your schedule – no extra apps or extra steps. Log-in on our website, enter your scores, check your schedule, and see your court assignments all in one place.
All Honcho Leagues are played on premium courts and at top-tier facilities for an unbeatable playing experience.
Tell us your skill level at registration to set your starting point on the ladder. We’ll pair you with the closest players available in your league. The more players in your market, the tighter the competition gets - so invite your friends!
Courts are booked, partners and opponents are assigned, and your schedule will be available on the platform ~2 days before your league night each week. All you have to do is RSVP that you’re ‘in’ each week and show up ready to play!

Your schedule is built around your RSVP. Approximately 4 days before your league night, you’ll get an email and text prompting you to RSVP for the upcoming league night. You’ll have an RSVP window to respond. If we haven’t heard from you, we’ll send one reminder before the window closes. Shortly after the RSVP window closes – the schedule and court assignments will be live in the League Platform! You can log-in anytime from the main menu of our website.

Pricing varies by city and venue – here’s what’s included when you register for a Honcho Ladder League: pre-booked courts, full season scheduling and admin handled by Honcho HQ, access to our league platform for all season management, a Honcho Season T-Shirt, access to our end-of-season social event, and possible surprise pop up perks throughout the season! Just show up and play – we’ve got everything else handled.

The games are competitive and fun, but the community you build along the way is the real win. Honcho players love to socialize, network, and sharpen their skills on the court – all happening at a venue right in your backyard.
It will depend on what’s offered at your venue! Start your registration to see what’s available. If Same-Partner Doubles or Same-Partner Ladder League is offered, you and your partner can join and compete together every week. If your venue has a Rotating Partner Ladder League, that one’s built for solo players — you’ll play with a different partner in each of your 3 weekly games, which is a great way to try out different dynamics and meet more people in your community!
Players are required to bring their own paddle and balls to every league night. Depending on your venue, courts may be indoor, outdoor, or both — if it’s both, plan to be ready for either, as it can vary night to night.
In the event of bad weather, matches scheduled at outdoor venues will be rescheduled leveraging our buffer weeks at the end of the season. Participants will be notified of any changes via email and through our league platform.
Same-Partner Doubles and Same-Partner Ladder Leagues are open to players 12 and up — the more the merrier! Rotating Partner Ladder Leagues are 18 and up, designed as a social adult league experience for players who love meeting new people and mixing up their game each week.
Ladder League is open skill – meaning anyone can join regardless of level. During registration, you’ll self-select the skill level that best represents your game, and that’s what sets your Week 1 matchups. From there, the ladder takes over – moving you up or down each week based on your performance.
You can review your schedule and submit scores directly through your Honcho League Platform. You’ll find your player log-in on the main menu of our website. Simply insert the email account that you registered with, check your email for a 6 digit code, enter it and go to your ‘Weekly Matchup’ tab.
